The art of foresight

Foresight, knowing what is coming up in the near future or as we know it now, the art of trend-watching. One of the best trendwachters of earlier days was apparently Salvador Dali. Came across an old saying of him from 1940 which simply shows his foresight or better his artistic potential. Here we are in 2014 and we can only conclude that our world is still way too mechanical. Much to much geared to operational efficiency, control and rules. We do need much more fantastical things, now more than ever! That’s the only way to move forward, transform our society and don’t get stuck 74 years later with the same feeling. Dali was radical for his day and age, let us be radical for our days. Let’s find new ways, new ideas, fantastic ideas and than combine all our energy and perseverance to make them real. Breaking the spell of efficiency thanks to our foresight of a society which is different. To make our society a little bit more beautiful, Dali style!
