Out of my comfort zone…
Out of the ordinary…
Out with a bang…
Out of a co-production between poetry and photography
Out now…
…a book entitled “the kindness of one” by Margaret Lansink and me. Inspired by a story in the summer of 1940 when WW2 was already on its way. Thousands upon thousands of Jews were caught between the advancing German troops and the Russians entering the Baltic States. In Kaunas, Lithuania, there was the Dutch consul (and director of the Philips Factory) who wrote visa for entering Curacao. With this visa and a transit visa to Japan from the Japanese consul, almost 10.000 Jews were able to escape the horrors. Just one little act of kindness, an act that inspired us to bring this story back to today…
