Out…

Out of my comfort zone…
Out of the ordinary…
Out with a bang…

…a book entitled “the kindness of one” by Margaret Lansink and me. Inspired by a story in the summer of 1940 when WW2 was already on its way. Thousands upon thousands of Jews were caught between the advancing German troops and the Russians entering the Baltic States. In Kaunas, Lithuania, there was the Dutch consul (and director of the Philips Factory) who wrote visa for entering Curacao. Just one little act of kindness, an act that inspired us to bring this story back to today…

If you are interested, here is the link to where you can order the book. There will be a launch in Paris (Polycopies) on the 7th and during Amsterdam Art Weekend (22-24 November) we will do a pop-up exhibition at the Embassy of Art (nomen est omen) in Amsterdam. Please feel free to visit!
